Waterfront City, Melbourne
1 July - 1 October, 2006
Leonardo da Vinci’s name is synonymous with creativity, imagination and originality. Da Vinci was a scientist, artist, architect, designer and philosopher; a man living in the fifteenth Century with twenty-first Century ideas. Working alone in a room full of plant specimens, machine parts, animal bones, rocks and surrounded by pages and pages of notes and workings he devised plans for a helicopter, a projector, a double-decker city, a horseless wagon and a telescope yet told no-one about them.
The Da Vinci Machines Exhibition was in Melbourne for three months during 2006 and provided an insight into the creative genius of Leonardo Da Vinci.
